About CrystalDiskMark
CrystalDiskMark is a simple, free disk benchmark program for Windows, developed by Crystal Dew World (CrystalMark Inc.). It measures sequential and random read/write performance and is widely used to test SSDs, HDDs, and NVMe drives.

8.0.x (2020–2024)
New UI (Project Priscilla), GDI+ font removed, ClearType and DPI improvements, Dark Mode, new default benchmark set (SEQ 1MiB Q8T1/Q1T1, RND 4KiB Q32T1/Q1T1), NVMe preset (Q32T16). Aoi Edition added in 8.0.5. Windows 11 fixes (8.0.3, 8.0.4).
7.0.x (2019–2020)
Admin rights for performance, Shizuku Edition themes, Peak/Real World/Demo profiles, Mix test, DiskSpd affinity change (-n), Sequential 1MiB, Random Q32T16, ARM64 support. Installer no longer supports XP/2003.
6.0.x – 4.0.x
Shizuku themes, random test Q8T8, Queue/Thread settings, benchmark core switched to Microsoft DiskSpd (MIT License) in 4.0.0. Result format changed from 3.x.
3.0.x – 1.x
Shizuku Edition introduced in 3.0.2, digital signature, test data selection (Random/0Fill/1Fill), NCQ test. Initial release 1.0.0 in 2007.
